Songluna AI API
Connect music creation to your application or agent workflow. Discover the available models, submit generation jobs, check their status and work with tracks through a scoped API key. Requests use your Songluna AI account and its credit balance.
What you can build
- Read the model catalog before choosing a generation model and its supported input.
- Create a generation, poll its job status and retrieve the resulting tracks.
- Check account credits and usage, and search your library or work with playlists.
- Configure webhook endpoints for workflows that react to events.
Each endpoint documents its method, request fields and required scope. Check the catalog for the chosen model’s supported features and cost before submitting a job.
Make your first request
- Sign in and create a key on the API key dashboard.
- Choose only the scopes your integration needs. Reading the balance needs
credits:read. - Store the key on your server, then check the credit balance with this read-only request.
curl https://songluna.com/api/v1/credits -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your own key. Keep it out of public repositories and browser code. The full reference includes cURL, JavaScript and Python examples.
Generation jobs and results
Music creation runs as a job. Submit the generation request, retain its identifiers and use the documented job and generation endpoints to check progress. Wait for a completed result before your application offers a track for playback or download.
Authentication, missing scopes, insufficient credits and rate limits have different error codes. Check the documented response and existing job status before resubmitting a request, so a retry does not create an unwanted second generation.
Credits, access and music rights
Generation uses your existing account credits. Check the current model and operation cost before starting work, and use the usage endpoint to reconcile requests. Account plans and credit packs are listed on Pricing.
Music follows the same plan terms: Free is for personal use, while Plus and Pro include commercial-use rights for eligible music. See Commercial Use for the scope of those rights.
